Hand Salt Spreaders & Pedestrian Gritters
Gritex supplies hand salt spreaders and drop spreaders for winter maintenance across paths, entrances, schools, estates, car parks and commercial premises. Choose a compact broadcast spreader for flexible coverage, or a drop spreader where controlled application is more important.
For smaller pedestrian areas, a compact hand spreader is usually the most convenient option. For larger commercial sites, higher-capacity models reduce refill time and help operators cover more ground efficiently.

Walk-behind salt spreaders for schools and estates
Pedestrian gritters let caretakers and grounds teams treat routes without a vehicle. Compare path width, hopper capacity and salt condition before choosing. Our salt spreaders for schools guide includes the Olympus drop salt spreader for controlled treatment and broadcast machines for wider areas.
