The SaltDogg® SHPE1500 is a high-capacity, fully self-contained poly hopper spreader engineered for superior performance in snow and ice control. With an upgraded design for 2025, it handles salt or salt/sand mix with ease and is ideally suited for flatbed vehicles (Transit, Iveco, Mercedes, etc.) or custom trailer mounting.

Auger System:

65mm screw-type auger runs full length of hopper floor

Prevents material bridging and ensures consistent delivery

Controlled by an independent auger/spinner controller with adjustable ratio settings

Spinner Chute Assembly:

Quick-remove spring-latch spinner assembly for easy cleaning and storage

Electric Drive System:

Two ultra-quiet 12V DC direct-drive motors

Enclosed in heavy-duty poly housing with two independent vibrators

Automotive-grade 10-gauge wiring with non-combustible sheathing (-50°C to +105°C)

In-cab control console allows independent control of auger, spinner, and vibrator
