The SaltDogg SHPE1000 is a heavy-duty, self-contained poly hopper spreader for commercial winter maintenance. It is designed for salt and salt/sand mixes and is particularly well suited to pickups and suitable trailer installations.
Key Features
- 765-litre poly hopper: Double-wall polymer construction with angled interior walls to encourage material flow.
- Full-length auger: 65mm screw-type auger runs across the hopper floor for dependable feeding.
- Independent control: Separate auger and spinner speed control, allowing the spread pattern and material output to be adjusted independently.
- Adjustable spreading: Approximate spread width of 1–12 metres.
- 12V electric drive: Two direct-drive motors power the auger and spinner.
- In-cab operation: Controller provides auger, spinner and vibrator control.
- Practical installation: Integrated tie-down points, four-piece ratchet kit and forklift slots aid mounting and handling.
- Complete package: Includes top screen, heavy-duty cover, vibrator, wiring harness, controller and ratchet tie-down kit.
